The resort's hillside setting looks across the sea, and beach access puts swimming and snorkelling close to the bungalows. The south-coast village is also a starting point for nearby coves and viewpoints.
Koh Tao has no airport, so visitors arriving by air continue by ferry from Koh Samui to Mae Haad Pier. From there, the resort is about a 10-minute drive; it arranges paid pick-up at 300 THB each way. Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 2 km away, and island pick-up trucks can be used as local taxis. Free private parking is available on site without a reservation.
Sai Nuan Beach is 950 m away and Shark Bay Beach is 1.2 km away; Sun Suwan Viewpoint is 1.1 km away, while John-Suwan Mountain Viewpoint is 1.2 km away. Snorkelling around the southern coves brings opportunities to see coral and turtles, and the resort also offers diving, canoeing, fishing and hiking. The west and south coasts are generally the calmer side of Koh Tao from November to March, though seasonal sea conditions can affect boat trips. The coves and headland viewpoints give you options for swimming, reef activities and views across the bay.

The resort can arrange paid pick-up from the pier for 300 THB each way; Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 2 km away. Island pick-up trucks provide local taxi transport, and free private parking is available on site without reservation.
P.D. Beach Resort is beside Haad June Juea (50 m). Chalok Baan Kao Beach is 450 m away, and Ao Chalok Ban Kao is 700 m away; Sai Nuam Beach is 800 m away. Sun Suwan Viewpoint lies 1.1 km away, while John-Suwan Mountain Viewpoint is 1.2 km away and looks over Ao Chalok and Ao Thian. These southern-coast coves and headland viewpoints are accessible from Chalok Baan Kao.

P.D. Beach Resort requires prepayment by bank transfer. Within 48 hours of booking, the resort emails its bank account details; payment must then be made within 48 hours of receiving that email to confirm the reservation.
P.D. Beach Resort requires a refundable damage deposit of THB 500 in cash on arrival. The full amount is returned at check-out after an inspection of the accommodation.
